Laxey Fire Station has bid farewell to leading firefighter Rod Clayton after almost 18 years service.
Rod is leaving as he moves on to the next chapter in his career.
Chief Fire Officer, Mark Christian and Deputy Chief Fire Officer John Murtagh joined the Laxey crew and presented Rod with a token of recognition for his service to the community of Laxey and the wider island.
The Fire and Rescue Service said: “Good luck and best wishes with your future endeavours Rod!”
