Steam Packet passengers will now be able to book offer fares right up to the point of departure.
The change, that comes into effect from today comes as part of the company’s effort to improve customer service and responding to passenger feedback.
Following input from its recent island-wide survey, it has decided to remove the 24-hour booking restriction for foot passengers and the 48-hour restriction for vehicles.
Last Minute Deals
These changes mean passengers can now secure discounted offer fares at the last minute.
Passengers can still choose to book standard fares, which offer additional flexibility if their travel plans may change.
While this update was something the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company could implement swiftly, it is continuing to analyse the survey results and assess further opportunities to “enhance the passenger experience”.
