Three plantation bike trails on the Isle of Man are to be closed after sustaining damage during Storm Darragh.
Fallen trees are still blocking forest roads at Archallagan, Conrhenny and South Barrule Plantations.
Mountain bike trails at these venues remain closed until further notice.
Storm Damage
Forestry staff from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will be extremely busy in the coming days checking the Glens and Plantations in the aftermath of the weekend’s storm.
In the interests of personal safety, it is asking the public to not enter taped-off areas of woodland or where you see leaning or hung-up trees.
The Department thanks the public for its ongoing feedback on tree issues and also for its patience as we work towards restoring access to amenities.
