The Isle of Man will be represented by an 18 strong squad at the English Schools Cross Country Championships this Saturday.
The final major event of the winter season takes place at Sefton Park in Liverpool.
Athletes from across the island’s schools will compete in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior categories against some of the strongest young runners in England.
The team includes:
- Senior Girls: Neve Madden
- Senior Boys: Gnaan Desai, Ben Woodbridge
- Intermediate Girls: Olivia Davies, Sienna Morrissey, Abi Sinclair, Emma Sturgess
- Intermediate Boys: Jonah Graham, Tim Perry, Harry Stennett
- Junior Girls: Eve Martin, Mollie McMullan, Bella Quaye, Autumn Ryles
- Junior Boys: Seamus Hall, Carter Kneale, Noah Sykes, Carter Whitehead
The English Schools Championships are known for their depth of talent and fast, competitive racing.
For many of the Manx athletes, it will be one of the toughest fields they face all year and an important development opportunity.
