The Ben-my-Chree’s first day-time sailing since stepping in for Manxman was delayed this morning due to an issue with the ship.
She had been due to leave the island at 8:45am, but only left shortly after 10am.
A passenger who contacted Manx.News said they had been told by the crew that an engine fault was to blame for the delay.
The return sailing is now due to leave Heysham at 3:15pm.
Today’s other sailing, the Manannan to Liverpool at 3pm, is scheduled to run as normal.
