A temporary speed limit of 30mph with 40mph buffer zones has been introduced on the Jurby Road.
The speed limit is between from the western approach to the Summerhill Road junction and the western junction with the St Judes loop road junction.
A defect in the road surface has developed within the series of corners between the two junctions.
The Department of Infrastructure is investigate and rectified as soon as resources allow.
In the meantime road users are asked to slow down in that area.
