From tomorrow there will be a temporary 30mph speed limit imposed on a short section of the road either side of the Black Dub.
This is to facilitate the safe removal of vegetation from the roadside wall which retains the highway, next to the River Neb.
Once the vegetation is removed, the structure will be surveyed.
There will be temporary traffic light in operation during working hours.
The speed limit authority extends to March 3, however it is anticipated that so long as weather conditions do not hinder the survey, it will be lifted before this date.
