The Northern Neighbourhood Team has paid tribute to PC Jane Butler after she moved to a new role within the Constabulary.
PC Butler has worked In the Northern Team for the last 12 years
The NNT said: “She is well known by many and has served the community well.
“The role of Community officers is very varied and takes many years to fully integrate within an area by building relationships and trust with the public and local partners.
“Jane has certainly made a lasting impression on many peoples lives she has helped over the years.”
The post on Facebook has been met with fond words from residents who PC Butler has worked with.
