The island’s media will turn the focus on itself tonight at an event held by the Positive Action Group.
Titled ‘The Role of the Modern Media in Manx Society and Politics’, the event is being held at the Manx Legion in Douglas.
Chairman of PAG Damian Ciappelli said: “The panel will consist of Manx media representatives who will hold up a mirror to the Island’s media and critically explore its achievements, opportunities and weaknesses.
“The island’s media takes on many forms and has significant influence in relation to the formation of political views and social opinion.”
On the panel is Manx Radio MD Chris Sully, Media Isle of Man’s Tom Curphey, Isle of Man Television’s Paul Moulton and James Corrin of Isle of Man News and Politics.
Doors open 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
