Davey Todd has won a remarkable opening race of TT 2025.
He won the first Superbike race by just 1.296 second over Michael Dunlop with both finishing with a 135mph lap.
Having led by 7.8 seconds after lap one, a slow pit stop at the end of lap two saw MD close down on the Flying Mullet.
With a gap of just 1.9 seconds at the end of lap three, they went into a proper battle which saw Dunlop cut the lead down to an insanely tight 0.269 second.
As Dunlop stunningly passed Dean Harrison on the road, Todd extended his lead to 2.271 seconds before it closed again to just 1.9 second at the Hairpin.
As they climbed up the Mountain Todd extended that lead to 2.285 seconds, at Cronk ny Mona Todd had extended that lead to 2.5 seconds on the run down to Grandstand.
Flying across the line, Todd won by just 1.296 seconds to secure his third overall TT win.
