The Department of Infrastructure has shut Phildraw Road in Malew to remove a tree that fell into overhead power lines.
The closure will allow Manx Utilities to remove the tree after it shifted during Storm Éowyn.
Phildraw Road will be closed from midday today until no later than 4pm.
There will be no through access, but residents will be able to access their properties from one end of the road or the other.
