Rushen Heritage Trust has celebrated its 10th birthday by appointing its founders as its first ever presidents.
Hugh and Sandra Davidson were vital in establishing RHT in 2014.
For its 10th birthday bash at Port St Mary’s Town Hall, a special exhibition was held, with a secret plan to prevent the Davidsons with certificates to confirm their status.
From everyone at RHT, thank you Hugh and Sandra for everything
The trust said: “Sadly, Sandra couldn’t join us, so it was left to current chairman Robert Graham to present Hugh with his certificate.
“Anyone who has followed our adventures over the years will likely know how much Hugh and Sandra have done for the Trust.
“It was their drive and passion which brought RHT into existence in 2014 and they have continued to go above and beyond the call of duty since, including serving as Board members until very recently.”
