More than 20 tickets for the Mercury Club Hospitality suite were issued to members of Tynwald and government officers during this year’s TT.
The details were released in response to a question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
Recipients included Sarah Maltby MHK, who attended all race days in her role as political member for tourism and motorsport, as well as Dr Michelle Haywood, Dr Alex Allinson MHK and Chief Minister Alf Cannan, each receiving two tickets.
Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston, who answered the question, also used tickets on June 6 and 7.
Government officers such as the CEO of Visit Isle of Man and the Commercial Director of Isle of Man Airport were also granted access.
The minister stated: “Complimentary access to TT Hospitality is provided in accordance with the department’s established policy… to support the furthering of economic development opportunities.”
He added that the hospitality serves as both a “commercial venture” and a “strategic platform” for the government’s economic goals.
