Tuesday’s weather forecast

This morning will be cloudy with extensive hill fog and outbreaks of rain and drizzle.

Windy with a fresh to strong southwest wind, with gusts of 25-30mph across the island, but up to 35mph over higher ground and in more exposed spots. The rain will clear early this afternoon leaving the rest of the day mostly dry with sunny intervals developing, as the wind turns to the northwest but remains strong and gusty. Maximum temperature 15°C.

Dry this evening & at first tonight with some clear spells, but with one or two showers developing overnight. A fresh to strong northwest wind with minimum temperature around 8°C.

Outlook

Tomorrow will be mainly dry and bright with spells of sunshine, but with an increasing risk of showers developing later in the afternoon & evening. Top temperature around 13°C, in the moderate to fresh west to northwest wind.

Mostly dry and bright with sunny intervals on Thursday, although a few passing showers are still possible. A moderate to fresh westerly wind with highs of 13 or possibly 14°C.
