The Department of Infrastructure will be carrying out ditching and drainage maintenance work on the Port Cornaa Road in Maughold from Friday for up to a fortnight.
Whilst these works are underway there will be a closure order in place prohibiting through traffic.
It is planned to do these works in two parts, starting with upper section from the junction with Lower Glen Mona Road to the ford at the bottom of the Rhenab Road, and then from the ford to the beach.
The DOI said access to properties within the closure areas will be facilitated and weekend working is not planned.
