Art, design and music students from University College Isle of Man will exhibit their final year work at the Villa Marina Arcade next month.
The exhibition, from May 9 to 15, features degree‑level Creative Visual Practice students alongside Further Education learners completing their Final Major Projects.
Degree students will present Follican, a collective body of work displayed in the upper Arcade.
The title, meaning “butterfly” in Manx, reflects the cohort’s development over three years. Student Milly Nodwell said the theme symbolises “transformation and growth” and ties into 2026’s Year of the Manx Language.
Final Projects
Further Education students will exhibit in a separate unit within the Arcade, showcasing a wide range of mediums including fashion, fine art, ceramics and music.
Their work has been supported by an Isle of Man Arts Council grant for materials and cataloguing.
Liza Nicholson, Acting Head of UCM’s Creative and Leisure Industries Faculty, said the annual exhibition is a chance to celebrate student talent across multiple disciplines. She thanked VillaGaiety for providing the space and encouraged the public to attend.
