Ballaugh Parish Commissioners have set the rates for the coming year at 143p/£, an increase of 5p (3.6%).
The board said: “This increase takes into consideration uncertainty surrounding future cost of the Northern Civic Amenity Site, essential tree felling work and a general rise in costs due to inflation.
“The Northern Parishes Refuse Collection Board has set its rates at 76p/£ and the fixed household fee at £54.”
