The biggest drinking, sorry, sporting event on the island is happening in the west today (July 20).
The first oars of the Viking Longboat World Championships will start rowing at 10am in Peel.
Teams have been practicing for weeks with the hope of being crowned Viking Longboat World Champions.
The event attracts teams from not only the Isle of Man, but travelling across the water (not via longboat) from Ireland and Scotland.
