Firefighters from Ramsey were called to a large outdoor fire early this morning, working for approximately 90 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
With hot, dry weather forecast, the Fire and Rescue Service has issued a warning about the heightened risk of wildfires across the island.
The service has urged the public to follow key safety guidelines, including avoiding campfires or bonfires, never discarding cigarettes on the ground, and ensuring BBQs are kept off grass and never left unattended.
Residents and visitors were also reminded to take all rubbish with them, as glass and litter can spark fires.
In case of an emergency, the public should call 999 immediately if they spot a fire in the open and use What3Words to report the exact location.
