Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain, valid from 9pm tonight.
It will be in place until 6am on Monday.
An area of heavy rain is expected to become slow-moving over the western half of the Irish Sea overnight and into Monday morning.
There is significant uncertainty of the exact position of the rain band.
Between 10-20mm of rain is forecast widely, with a risk of 20-40mm in some areas.
There remains an outside chance of even higher totals in which an escalation of the warning may be required and there is a risk of localised surface water flooding in prone locations, especially if the higher rainfall totals materialise.
