The Steam Packet has cancelled two sailings over the weekend, with another now to depart 10 hours later than planned.
Strong winds are expected across the Irish Sea on Sunday.
Sunday afternoon’s Liverpool to Douglas sailing, which had been due to leave Merseyside at 2pm, will now leave shortly before midnight.
It will then take six hours and arrive in Douglas at about 6am.
As a result of this and the weather, the Douglas to Heysham Sunday evening sailing and 1:45am sailing back to the island have both been cancelled.
