Kate Lord‑Brennan MHK has submitted a series of written questions requiring every Government Department to publish detailed organisational charts.
This includes staffing numbers, divisions, job titles and the number of direct reports for each post.
The written questions were directed individually to the Minister for Enterprise, Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture, Minister for Cabinet Office, Minister for Education, Sport and Culture, Health and Social Care Minister, Justice and Home Affairs Minister, Infrastructure Minister and the Treasury Minister.
In each case, Lord‑Brennan asked for the same level of disclosure:
- The full organisational structure of the Department and its agencies;
- The number of staff in each division;
- Job titles across the structure;
- How many direct reports each position holds.
The coordinated set of questions signals a push for greater transparency around how government is structured and how senior roles are configured across departments.
The responses are due to be published on March 11.
