Public Health has launched a new survey asking island residents to share their experiences of seeking help with weight management and the challenges they face.
Running until Monday, July 6, the survey looks at how people access support, what services they find useful, and the barriers that make maintaining a healthy weight difficult.
Adults aged 18 and over are invited to take part, with Public Health particularly keen to hear from those who want to reach a healthier weight or have used local services.
Findings will feed into a new Healthy Weight Needs Assessment, which will shape future support and services across the island.
Dr Matt Tyrer, Director of Public Health, said the latest Health and Lifestyle Survey showed 64% of respondents were overweight or obese, adding that both being overweight and underweight can affect health and wellbeing.
Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford MBE MHK said the survey would help build a clearer picture of weight health across the Island and identify where improvements are needed.
The survey can be completed online here, with paper copies available by calling 01624 642639.
