Taxpayers may finally learn how much the government’s ferry terminal in Liverpool has cost.
Originally budgeted at around £38m, costs spiralled on the project and were said to have at almost doubled to £70m.
When Tynwald sits next week, Chris Thomas will ask Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson what the final cost is and whether, and if so, when and how, Tynwald will be asked to approve any additional project costs.
Former DoI minister Tim Crookall previously said the price wouldn’t be known until 65 weeks after completion, the terminal having opened in June last year.
