Minimum wage, ministerial code and who attended a housing event with developers? All will be discussed in today’s House of Keys sitting.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge will be asking the Cabinet Office Minister to publish the raw data and the exact calculation used to determine the median wage.
She will also be querying the impacts of different increases to the personal tax allowances.
House of Keys
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will be asking a question regarding ministerial code.
He will ask the Chief Minister, whether non-compliance with the law is a breach of the Ministerial Code; and what action he would take if a Minister failed to comply with the law in the exercise of their duties.
Meanwhile, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will be asking the Treasury Minister for the invite list to a housing event that was held over two years ago.
Mr Thomas wishes to know, which politicians, officers and developers he invited to a housing event on 28th February 2023 at Woodbourne House; who attended; and what the purpose, agenda, conclusions and action points were.
