Will Awarded King’s Ambulance Medal

Manx Care’s Divisional Director for Ambulance and Transfer Services, Will Bellamy, has been awarded the King’s Ambulance Medal in the 2026 New Year Honours.

The honour recognises more than 20 years of dedicated service within the ambulance service and his leadership since joining Manx Care in 2022.

The medal is awarded for exceptional commitment to patient care, professionalism and leadership.

Mr Bellamy attended a reception at Government House alongside other islanders recognised in the New Year Honours.

Manx Care CEO Teresa Cope said the award reflects his “exceptional” dedication to the service and the community.

On receiving the award and attending the reception, Will Bellamy said: “I’m incredibly honoured to receive the King’s Ambulance Medal.

“This award reflects the dedication of the amazing ambulance teams I’ve worked with throughout my career, and it’s a privilege to serve the people of the Isle of Man alongside my colleagues in Manx Care.”
