Scott Wilson has been elected to the board of Onchan Commissioners for the remainder of its current term.
He beat Nigel Dobson and Oliver Lockwood.
Mr Wilson picked up 447 votes from the 707 cast, Mr Dobson got 189 Mr Lockwood received 71.
Turnout was reportedly just 10%.
The whole of the island’s local authorities will go to the polls in April.
