I’ve really enjoyed the weather the past few weeks, but sadly I have a horrible feeling that winter is about to rear its big ugly head.
Although it’ll be dry for much of today with a freshening southeast wind and top temperature of 14°C, tomorrow is a totally different story.
An area of rain will arrive from the west overnight into Sunday (hello mucking out duties – fml), which is when the yellow weather warning comes into place.
Hate You Winter
Because the heavy rain isn’t enough to really kick start the seasonal depression, it’ll be windy too.
The heavy rain may lead to surface water flooding in prone locations, before clearing away during the afternoon.
A strong southeast wind will veer southwest and decrease as the last of the rain clears through.
The silver lining? It won’t be cold with a best temperature of 15°C.
Look Ahead
The weather will calm down a little next week, but not back to the glorious settled weather we have experienced the past week or so.
There will be showers on Monday, these will be heavy and prolonged at times, then becoming more scattered overnight.
A South or SW wind of 10-15, 15-20 in places, becoming Variable 10-15 for a time, then settling West or NW 10-15 later, 15-20 in places.
A bit of a ‘meh’ on Tuesday with sunny intervals and scattered showers, then dry overnight.
Wind will be a West or NW 10-15, 15-20 in places, then backing SW later.
