First things first, there is no weather warning for snow this weekend, but there are wintry showers (take that as you will).
It is going to be a bit cloudy to start the day today (January 13), with a few outbreaks of rain (sorry!!) then becoming dry and bright in the afternoon.
There will be a light to moderate northwest wind and a maximum temperature of 8°C – get the tanning lotion out.
Sunday weather
The Ronaldsway Met Office say that it will be largely cloudy on Sunday (January 14) with the risk of a few showers (again, apologies).
There is a risk of frost/ice and a risk that showers may be wintry over the hills.
With a moderate to fresh northerly wind and a top temperature of 6°C – put the lotion away.
Outlook
Now as I delve through weather forecasts near and far, I see ‘risk of snow’ being flurried about – see what I did there.
Monday (January 15) it is going to be cold. Get out the hats, gloves and hot water bottles as we prepare for highs of 4C and lows of 0C.
It’ll be generally dry and cloudy, with a risk of an odd shower, possibly turning wintry over the hills.
There is a risk or frost/ice and a risk of sleet/snow over hills (small amounts) accompanied by strong winds.
Tuesday, January 16 brings a slightly higher temperature of 6C and lows of 1C.
It will be cloudy with a spell of rain arriving during the morning, possibly turning wintry over the hills.
There is again a risk of frost/ice and a risk of sleet/snow over hills.
