Women’s Cricket Team Announced

Fourteen Manx cricket players have been selected for the Isle of Man Women’s National Team squad.

The squad travelling to Cyprus on April 17 to kickstart the quadrangular series against Cyprus, Denmark and Jersey will be:

• Bekkie Webster

This is be a debut appearance on the team for Georgie Ford and Lola Hornby Wheeler.

Women’s Cricket Team

As well as the quadrangular series, the Isle of Man Women’s National Team will be travelling to Rome for the ICC Women’s World Cup Europe Qualifier Division 2 in May.

This acknowledges the significant improvements made by the Women’s National Team since playing their first T20 international in November 2022 in Spain.

The National Team are currently placed 37 in the ICC T20 world rankings.

The entrance to the ICC World Cup qualifiers for the first time also highlights the significant growth in the women’s domestic game on the Isle of Man since the first soft ball cricket festivals back in 2019.
