A yellow weather warning has been issued for overnight Monday into Tuesday with gusts of up to 55mph forecast.
A period of windy weather will occur late Monday/early Tuesday, with southerly winds increasing to give gusts of around 45-50 mph in many areas, with isolated gusts 50-55 mph.
The strongest winds will be around midnight, with a significant decrease after 2 or 3am. Rain will be heavy for a few hours too.
Precautionary action is advised where possible to avoid damage to tents, marquees etc.
