Island business leaders were recognised on Friday as the winners of the 2026 IoD Isle of Man Director of the Year Awards.
Winners included Juliet Gomes (KPMG in the Crown Dependencies) in the Aspiring category; Gail Yeowell (Smart Solutions HR) for Small Business; Jayne Hartley (Noventre Limited) for Medium Business; and Nina Johnston (Equiom Isle of Man) for Large Business.
The Innovation Award was shared by David Cox‑Cooper (Koops & Co.) and Donald Edwards (Atla Group – Wealth Services).
Victoria Hotchkiss (Isle of Man FA) won the Public & Third Sector category, while Mark Emmington (Comis Hotel & Golf Resort) took the Sustainability Award.
Highly commended certificates went to Paul Healey BEM (Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation), Capt Kuba Szymanski (Ramsey Shipping Services), Chloe Chau (The Galpals Collective) and Graham Makepeace‑Warne (Manx Wildlife Trust).
IoD Isle of Man Chair Steve Billinghurst said the awards showcased “the excellent depth of leadership talent we have in the Isle of Man”, praising both winners and finalists for their contribution to the Island’s business and third‑sector communities.
Lead sponsor SW Legal said the event highlighted the island’s strong culture of supporting and celebrating local success.
