Health Minister Claire Christian MHK has confirmed the status of consultant job plans across Manx Care, following a written question from Juan Watterson MHK.
Minister Christian said that as of April 30, 2026, a total of 40 consultant job plans had been fully completed and approved.
A further 44 job plans have been approved pending completion of team‑based planning, which is due by the end of May and is required to ensure mandated service levels are met.
Two job plans remain unresolved and are being taken through the dispute‑resolution process.
The Minister said individual job plans cannot be published, as they contain personal information such as working patterns. However, anonymised summaries, including by specialty, will be released once team planning is finished.
She added that Manx Care’s Integrated Performance Report, published monthly on its website, already provides regular service‑level performance reporting.
