Peter Hickman’s PHR Performance team will have an expanded presence at this year’s TT.
The team will be fielding the 14-time winner alongside former podium finisher Pierre-Yves Bian and newcomer Barry Burrell.
Hickman will compete in the Supersport TT races aboard the Trooper Triumph by PHR Performance, while Bian—the first Frenchman to secure a solo TT podium with his second-place finish in the 2023 Supertwin race—will ride an identical machine.
Both will also contest the Metzeler Supertwin TT races, with Hickman on the Swan Racing Yamaha and Bian on the PHR Performance Aprilia.

Bian, winner of the 2019 Newcomers Manx Grand Prix, has steadily progressed since his 2022 TT debut, securing four top-ten finishes and lapping at close to 121mph in the Supersport class.
This year, he adds the 1000cc races to his schedule, riding the PHR Performance BMW.
“I’m really excited about this year’s TT and having a stronger PHR Performance team on the grid,” said Hickman.
“I’ve got a lot of time for Pierre, and he’s in a good place and confident ahead of this year’s TT. With the Triumph having improved a lot over the winter, I’m looking forward to seeing what we can both do.”
Hickman also highlighted improvements to his Yamaha Supertwin: “We’ve done a lot of work over the winter months as we’re always looking for more horsepower.
“My size and stature mean it’s always tough, and we’re still lacking a bit with the straight-line speed of the Yamaha. It’s improving all the time though, and the focus has been on both engine and exhaust development.”
The team will also support Burrell, a British Superbike Championship veteran making his TT debut.
Hickman said: “I’ve known and raced against Barry since about 2002, and it’s great to have him in the team. I’ll help him as much as I can—that’s the PHR Performance philosophy. We like to help people where we can, and with Pierre and Barry, we’ve got two great riders.”
