Beach Buddies Head to Cornaa

Beach Buddies volunteers will be heading to Port Cornaa this Sunday for a community beach clean session starting at 10.30am.

The group says the weather forecast is finally in their favour, with Ronaldsway predicting dry conditions and sunny spells, a welcome change for what will be their first team visit to Port Cornaa in some time.

Volunteers travelling from Laxey are advised to turn off across the MER tram lines around half a mile past Dhoon Glen Café and follow signs to the beach.

Those coming from the north should take the road directly opposite the Glen Mona Hotel. The beach is roughly one mile from the main road.

Parking at the beach is limited, with space for around 10 to 15 vehicles, and attendees are asked to park efficiently.

Beach Buddies say they’re looking forward to a strong turnout for the session
