Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall has told Keys it is “far too soon” to release documents on the proposed Crossag Farm development, as frustration mounts over a lack of visible progress.
The major housing scheme, previously linked to more than 250 homes, has been the subject of questions in the chamber for more than a year. But Mr Crookall said the project remained in its infancy.
“The department will not be issuing a document about the proposed development at this time,” he said. “It is far too soon.”
An initial meeting has been held with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, which the Minister said “confirmed that DESC would be a key state stakeholder” and was “happy to engage with the project”.
He added that “no other stakeholder discussions have taken place at this time”.

Jason Moorhouse MHK, who pressed the Minister for an update, voiced concern about the pace of progress.
“What’s actually happened in the last 12 months? Because we seem to go backwards rather than forwards,” he said.
But Mr Crookall rejected that claim, insisting: “Certainly not going backwards. Conversations are being had.”
He revealed the officer handling the project was “new to the department in October” and had “an awful lot on his plate”.
The minister said members would be involved before any application, adding: “We are a long way away from planning.”
