As of Monday morning, the Isle of Man Constabulary had issued 178 endorsable speeding notices since the start of TT 2026.
Police have released the latest Roads Policing Unit figures for TT 2026, showing a sharp focus on speeding, high‑risk riding and one‑way breaches.
As of June 1, officers have:
- Issued 178 endorsable speeding notices;
- Arrested four riders for travelling at more than double the speed limit, including one recorded at 65mph in a 30 zone in Onchan;
- Sent two people to court for riding against the one‑way system on the A18 Mountain Road;
- Carried out 22 breath tests and 11 drug wipes;
- Made 25 arrests through the Roads Policing Unit alone during the TT period.
Police say both marked and unmarked units are patrolling across the Island and are urging riders and drivers to make sensible decisions during the festival.
The Constabulary said most visitors respect the limits, but a small number continue to show “clear disregard” for their own safety and that of others.
Officers also reminded visitors that the island continues to function during TT, with residents travelling and working as normal.
