How Confident Are Businesses?

The fourth Business Environment and Conditions Survey has been launched by the government.

The twice-yearly survey, last run in late 2025, asks a sample of 3,000 invited businesses about activity, confidence, staffing, investment and outlook. It also covers skills, regulation and the ease of doing business on the island.

Participation is voluntary and by invitation only. Letters have been sent to selected firms, and the questionnaire takes no longer than 30 minutes to complete.

“The findings provide essential information for economic monitoring, short-term forecasting, and policy development across government,” a government spokesperson said.

The survey closes at midnight on Friday July 10.
