Onchan face Corinthians in the Railway Cup semi-final tonight, arguably the club’s biggest game in a generation.
While Corinthians have become a regular feature in the competition, Onchan’s strong league form in the early weeks is new territory for the club.
The game, delayed from last weekend, will mark the first time since 1939, when it won its sole Railway Cup crown, that the Os have played in it.
At stake is a final place against Peel, who stormed past Laxey to make the Boxing Day showpiece.
Entry to the game is £2 per adult and 50p concessions, with the money being donated to Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation. Plus, Corinthians is laying on free mince pies and hot drinks to spectators in the FA boardroom at half time.
Keen to see a yellow army in strong numbers, Onchan has said the club will cover the entrance fee of anyone wearing an Onchan shirt on the night!
