Craig’s Heartstrong and Okell’s Inns have come together to install a new defibrillator in Castletown.
Placed on the outside wall of the George, the life saving device will be available 24/7 for anyone in the town who needs it.
Chairman of the charity Paul Healey said: “We worked closely with the team at Okell’s Inns to make this happen and they are responsible for the upkeep which is being assigned to St John Ambulance as one of their service packages.
“The defib is now registered and ready to be used in an emergency situation.”
