A luxury knitwear manufacturing company has submitted plans to expand its island base.
The Albion Knitting Company moved its production base to the island from London just under two years ago.
Since then it has established itself on the Ronaldsway Industrial Estate in Ballasalla and partnered with the TT to be a knitwear provider.
Its application shows it wants to build a two-storey extension to south west elevation of existing factory to replace existing two story office block.

Founders Christian Murphy and Jamie O’ Neill said: “Albion has been successfully manufacturing on this site since January 2025 and now employs 64 people at Ronaldsway.
“Due to time constraints Phase Two – the refurbishment of the old office block was not started but following further investigation our architect Penketh Millar has advised it would be more practical to demolish the old office building structure and replace with a modern two-story structure. “
