Amy Shuts MNH Sites Until Midday

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Manx National Heritage sites will remain closed until midday today.

This is with the exception of the Manx Museum and iMuseum, which will open as usual. 

MNH are closely monitoring the weather forecast and will continue to review conditions throughout the weekend.

Postponed Events

All visitors booked on Heritage Open Days events are asked to please check their email and MNH Facebook page for updates issued over the weekend. 

The following Heritage Open Days events are cancelled or postponed:

  • Saturday 4 Oct: Molly Corrooin’s Cottage Open Day has been cancelled due to adverse weather. It is hoped Sunday’s opening will go ahead if conditions improve. 
  • Saturday 4 Oct: Maughold Crosses and their Creation with Ian Faulds has been cancelled due to adverse weather.
  • Saturday 4 Oct: Watch and Ward at Peel Castle – postponed to Saturday 11 Oct at 10am
  • Saturday 4 Oct: Maughold Parish Walk is rescheduled to Sunday 12 Oct at 2pm.
