Fifteen will become four today as MHKs let us know who they want as lawmakers for the next five years.
The winners will receive a £71,659 starting salary, which will only go up, all without the need to face the public who pay for all of this.
Three sitting MLCs are seeking another five years, they are Bill Henderson, who is the longest serving member of Tynwald, Rob Mercer and Kerry Sharpe.
Mr Henderson was first elected as an MHK in 1998 and has been a member of LegCo since 2010.
Mrs Shapre has been an MLC since 2018, while Mr Mercer was first appointed in 2020.
