The rather awful weather forecast has put off Beach Buddies’ plans for a weekend clean up.
Gale force winds are set to hit the island this Sunday.
The charity said: “According to the forecast, on Sunday the Isle of Man will be slap-bang in the middle of heavy rain storms and winds over 60mph.
“So, as tough as we are, we think it’s best advice this weekend to call off our volunteer session and we’ll get back together on Sunday, March 2.”
