Beach Buddies is linking up with the Channel Islands for a series of special events this coming weekend.
The Manx charity is connecting with beach cleaning groups in Guernsey and Jersey for their annual “Big Beach Clean”.
Beach Buddies’ normal Sunday morning event takes place at Spaldrick, Port Erin from 10.30am on March 16th from 10.30am.
However, to mark the occasion, it is inviting people from all over the Isle of Man to join in at any time at any beach outside the bird nesting zones over the weekend on a beach of your choice.

The charity said: “All you have to do to get involved is go to your favourite beach, pick up some rubbish and let us know.
“You don’t have to join us on Sunday morning – you can go out any time over the weekend with friends or family, or even on your own.
“Please take photographs and send them to us via email: info@beachbuddies.org.im.”
Beach Buddies has sponsored bins all over the island in more than 50 different beach locations, where you can leave your collected rubbish.
In order to record the number of people taking part the charity is asking people to send information to the above email address.
