Michael District Commissioners have announced a rise of more than 23% to this year’s rates.
The board says it’s set the rates to 199 pence in the pound.
Despite the rise, it is not the highest on the island.
The board said: “Our strategic goal is to build a financial resilience and create a robust reserve to ensure long-term stability and to maintain continuity of services.”
