The cancellation of this mornings sailings due to adverse weather means that no post left the island earlier today.
Isle of Man Post Office says that mail collected yesterday will now be dispatched this afternoon, but it is unlikely to reach Royal Mail’s network in time for delivery tomorrow.
As there was also no outbound sailing, there will also be no return sailing carrying inbound mail.
Inbound mail will now arrive on a later sailing and will be processed for delivery as soon as it reaches the Island.
It isn’t all bad news, as the t local-to-local mail is unaffected by these disruptions.
