Caroline Mayers took Barcelona Half Marathon by storm this weekend finishing in fourth place.
After 11 years she broke her personal best half marathon time with a clocking of 1:27:37 as she finished fourth in the women’s 50 category.
Caroline is now in her fourth year in the 50 age group, and her previous pb for the Half Marathon was set all the way back in 2014 when she set a time of 1:28:02 in Copenhagen.

To set a new mark so many years later shows how incredibly dedicated she has been to her running for so long.
The Manx Harriers runners time on Sunday is just seven seconds outside the Island Games A standard for this year’s Games in Orkney.
Well done to Helen Taylor who was also competing in Barcelona this morning and ran a time of 1:37:56.
