A petition to stop a double murderer being released from prison has gathered over 900 signatures.
The petition says that Peter Newbery is up for parole in March of this year.
Newbery was jailed for life in 2004 for the brutal murders of George Green and Samantha Barton in Braddan.
Samantha and George were both 16 and in care on the island when they were stabbed and strangled in February 2002 by Newbery.
