Manx National Heritage will celebrate 170 years of the Great Laxey Wheel this weekend.
There will be free admission all day, with donations welcome to help keep the Laxey Wheel turning for future generations.
Between 12:30pm and 3:30pm celebrations will include free trail and traditional games.

People can climb the wheel, take a trip into the mine and enjoy Glen Mooar Valley.
There will be an additional ‘Hard Hat Tour’ at 1pm (pre-bookable tickets available to purchase in advance).
MNH said: “Dress for the weather, wear sensible footwear and enjoy a FREE day out marking 170 years of the world’s largest working waterwheel.”
